Score: 8.4 Finish: 22/24You want a 14-way top, full-length dividers and a reasonably priced mid-weight cart bag.
You play golf daily and need premium fabrics that withstand wear and tear.
PING Moonlander
Score: 9.4 Finish: 10/44While not as large as the Hoofer, the Moonlander weighs 4.5 pounds, is easy to carry and the carbon fiber legs easily support the bag’s weight.
You need lots of storage or plan to ride on the cart for most of your rounds.
Maxfli Honors
Score: 9.0 Finish: 30/44You want an affordable stand bag with a 14-way top.
The Maxfli Honor Stand Bag lost some points for its legs. They don’t release and retract as cleanly as the premium-priced golf bags.
Bag Boy HB-14
Score: 8.6 Finish: 39/44You want a good pocket layout including a deep water bottle pocket. The HB-14 also has a 14-way top and good carry straps.
The 14-way top is tight and not a good choice for golfers with oversized or jumbo grips on their clubs.
