8 Unique Golf Cart Accessories You Didn’t Know You Needed

As a golfer who rides more than he walks, I’m always looking for golf cart accessories to make my round as hassle-free as possible. I don’t want to have to fumble around trying to find my phone as it slides around the storage area in the dash (or drive back two holes after realizing it fell out). Whether you use course-provided carts or have a golf cart of your own, the right accessories are important in keeping you organized instead of tossing everything in the dash and hoping for the best. Check out these items below to see if they can make your life easier for every round.

Stripebird Magnetic Phone Holder

If you’re like me, you use your phone throughout the round to track shots or get distance to greens. It is a pain to have to grab it out of the cupholder or storage bin, check your numbers, put it back and then wash, rinse and repeat. This magnetic phone holder from Stripebird allows you to mount your phone to the post of the golf cart, keeping it in plain site as you make your way down the fairway. Say goodbye to wasted time with access right at your fingertips.

Overhead Storage Bag

This accessory is geared towards the golfer who, like me, owns their own cart. When you own your cart, there are things you put in that NEVER leave. This can lead to limited storage space. Utilize the space above your head with this convenient net. Gone are the days of wasting a cupholder spot for your bug spray. It’s also a great place to store snacks if you are a parent of small children who enjoy hitting the links with you. Do yourself a favor and snag one.

Rokform G-ROCK

I may ruffle some feathers here as the crowd is strongly divided but I am in the camp of playing music on the course (no, you won’t hear me from three fairways over). Golf is a social game and that social time is made even better with some great tunes. This speaker from ROKFORM has an internal magnet that allows you to stick it right to your cart instead of placing it in the dash. Waterproof, shockproof and dustproof, it is made to withstand all elements with 24-hour battery life to boot. If you’re looking for a new speaker for 2025, you’ve found it.

CLUBRALLY Steering Wheel Mount

If you prefer having everything right at your fingertips (or are guilty of forgetting things on the cart post), this steering wheel mount from CLUBRALLY is the accessory for you. It’ll hold your phone, pencil and ball marker front and center. Get your yardages with ease and have a ball marker handy at all times.

AMACOOL Cart Fan

When the temperature starts to rise, cool off in front of this portable cart fan between shots. Flexible legs allow you to position it in just the right spot for optimal comfort. This fan is battery-operated so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to charge it before you hit the course.

Mr. Heater Golf Cart Heater

We are pulling a 180 with this next golf cart accessory. If you golf in a cold climate, a heater can make early-spring and late-fall rounds so much more enjoyable! Just because the temps plummet doesn’t mean we will stop playing golf here in Wisconsin. That breeze on the drive cuts a little harder, though, so grab a heater to keep you warmer while on the move!

Magnetic Cigar Holder

Golf is a social game and, for some, this means a nice cigar while playing a round with good friends. Instead of propping it up on your wedge or setting it on the ground as you approach the green, grab this magnetic holder and mount it directly to your cart.

HomeMount Portable Speaker Mount

Last, but not least, I’ll circle the wagon back to the music crowd. If you own a speaker but don’t want it rolling around the dash, this speaker mount is a great option. This is an accessory that never leaves my cart and has been used more than any other I own. Velcro straps make it easy to attach and the strap that holds the speaker accommodates various sizes. Give this a try. I think you’ll like it!
