What the heck is a Bogey Boy? Perhaps that was your nickname in high school? Just kidding. Bogey Boys is a golf apparel company founded by Macklemore. Yes, that Macklemore. 

Bogey Boys’ shtick is high-quality golf apparel with a vintage and classic flair. They’re a relatively new company, founded in 2021. That said, a collaboration of this magnitude is a huge step forward for the brand.

Choose Your Fit

The extensive adidas x Bogey Boys collection is full of nostalgic golf goodies. I’m a particular fan of the polos. Heck, even the tracksuit is a good piece for a little post-round lounging. 

Maybe you’re a fan of the more sophisticated stuff. The collection features a handsome sweater vest and pleated trousers, if you’re into that. Of course, the pants are made from adidas’ stretchy WARPKINIT material, making them plenty functional for the modern golfer. 

How about a little love for our lady golfers? The adidas x Bogey Boys collection has you covered with a high-waisted skirt also made from modern materials.

A host of accessories, including a five-panel hat and a premium leather travel bag, round out the collection. 

What About the Shoes?

The piece de resistance of the adidas x Bogey Boys collection has to be the adidas MC80 spikeless golf shoes. This new model is being introduced as a part of the limited collection, with more in-line styles to release down the road.

The new adidas MC80 spikeless golf shoe might look vintage but it’s packed with modern technology, including the beloved BOOST cushion.

It hides it well, doesn’t it? The MC80 is powered by the BOOST heel cushion but it is also bolstered by adidas TORSION bar (for stability) and a spikeless TPU outsole for traction. 

A removable kiltie with co-branding adds to the effect. 

Does the new adidas x Bogey Boys MC80 look like a shoe I would wear to church? Probably. Will I still wear it on the golf course, anyways? You bet your kiltie I will. 

A Bogey Worth Carding

From what I can gather, golf is becoming more open to those trying to break the traditionalist mold. Is the adidas x Bogey Boys collection further proof of his notion? I would say so. 

Kudos to adidas and Bogey Boys for getting outside the norm and bringing us something so fun and nostalgic.
