Best Golf Gadgets Under $100
If you love golf gadgets and want to add something to enhance your game or help you enjoy your time on the course, here are some of our favorites. Each is priced under $100.
Orange Whip
The Orange Whip has become nearly as popular as a golf alignment stick. This is one of our favorite training aids among staff members. It’s great for warming up before a round, building muscle memory and creating a smoother and better golf swing.
Dr. Scholl’s
Dr.Scholl’s has a few products that could pass for golf gadgets.
You can use Dr.Scholl’s spray on your clubface to help determine where you are striking the ball. Keep your golf shoes smelling better and your strikes more accurate with the same spray!
Golf Impact Tape
Golf impact tape is an adhesive strip you put on your irons, woods or putter to show where the ball contacts the clubface. If you struggle with inconsistency in your strikes, putting a little impact tape on the club can help you resolve some issues.
Sharpie
Use a Sharpie to mark your ball so it’s identifiable. You can also use the Sharpie to create a line on the ball to improve alignment. Mini Sharpies often have a clip on the end that you can attach to the golf bag.
Grooveit Brush
The Grooveit Brush is a club-cleaning brush with a built-in water reservoir. Playing with dirty golf clubs reduces spin, control and distance. This simple and effective gadget offers easy, on-the-go cleaning.
EyeLine Putting Mirror
The EyeLine Putting Mirror is a compact, portable putting training aid that helps golfers with alignment, setup and mechanics. It works at home and on the practice green.
Scotty Cameron Divot Tool
A classic Scotty Cameron divot repair tool is another great golf gadget under $100. If you appreciate premium accessories, you’ll enjoy keeping this one with you on the course.
Glove Saver
Golf gloves should last longer than they do. A glove saver helps extend the life of your gloves by keeping them in shape and ensuring they dry properly after each round. It’s a simple device but it’s worth considering if you wear premium golf gloves.
Rubber Snake
If you haven’t seen the rubber snake videos, run, don’t walk, to YouTube to check them out. A rubber snake quickly hooked up with a string to your golf buddy’s belt can make for a very fun day on the course. Save this for casual play and then let the kids have it to mess around at home.
JBL Clip 3
We have tested the JBL Clip 3 and it’s always one of our favorite gadgets. This portable Bluetooth speaker clips easily onto your golf bag. It is waterproof and durable, perfect for enjoying music on the golf course.
Golf Club Range Chart Card
A good reference guide for beginners, the golf club range chart card estimates how far you should hit the golf ball. These are typically based on skill level and many have rules and tips on the backside of the card. Most are under $10.
Stripebird
The Stripebird Golf Steel Hub is a magnetic clip you can put on your bag to help hold magnetic accessories. Most golfers use it as a towel or rangefinder holder but you can stick anything magnetic to the Stripebird Hub. Stripebird has other strong magnetic accessories like a phone case and a magnetic rangefinder wrap.
Ball Stencil
A stencil helps golfers mark their golf balls with precise lines or designs. A Sharpie and a ball stencil can do the trick if you want personalized golf balls without paying the price.
Hand Warmers
Hand warmers that can be charged and reused are the ultimate winter golf gadget. If you have played enough golf in the fall and winter, you know that warm hands help you grip the club and stay comfortable out on the course.
Massage Gun
A portable massage gun can help relieve muscle tension and soreness. Golfers use them after a round of golf or to warm up before heading to the first tee. These massage guns can get expensive but options like the Sharper Image are less than $100. Some very low-priced portable massage guns don’t have as much power.
Grip Trainer
Have you finally accepted the fact that your grip may not be perfect? Smart golfers work on their grip because it’s their only connection with the club. If you want to improve your grip and consistency, put the SKLZ Golf Grip Trainer Attachment on your club at the range.
