We tested 37 drivers in 2025, four of which are Titleists. The Titleist GT2 was the longest driver of 2025 and finished in the top five, the best for Titleist. If you are in the market for a new Titleist driver, we will review all the 2025 Best Driver testing results and help you find the best Titleist drivers for your game.
Best Titleist Driver of 2025: GT2
The Titleist GT2 claimed the top spot for distance in our 2025 test. The GT2 had the best total and carry distance of any other driver in our test. With an average total distance of 252.02 yards, it was more than 10 yards longer than the shortest driver in the test. If you want pure distance off the face, you’ll get it with the GT2.
But there’s a trade-off.
GT2 didn’t rate as highly for forgiveness. We measure forgiveness by looking at the consistency of the results the driver can produce. So if you’re looking for consistency, there might be better options.
Buy this if:
You want the longest driver. GT2 was the No. 1 driver for carry and total distance.
You care about looks, feel and sound. GT2 was rated highly among testers in subjective feedback.

Titleist GT3
The Titleist GT3 offers a strong combination of distance and accuracy. It finished fifth in distance and 14th in accuracy overall. The GT3 model is known for being a lower-spinning driver with high levels of accuracy for tour players and higher swing speeds.
In our high swing speed test, it was the runner-up for best overall driver. Similar to the GT2, it’s not the most forgiving, ranking near the bottom of the list for forgiveness.
Buy this if:
You’re a high swing speed golfer who wants both distance and accuracy.
You want lower spin with a forward CG.

Titleist GT4
The GT4 is another distance winner from Titleist in 2025. It’s the second-longest driver in the test, producing nearly the same distance outcomes as the Titleist GT2. Testers noted that the GT4 had a more penetrating ball flight and produced long distances off the tee.
However, the GT4 is not for everyone.
The GT4 scored near the bottom for accuracy. It’s a little better than the GT2 and GT3 for forgiveness. The GT4 has a smaller head shape that appeals to some testers. It also ranked as the best-sounding driver of 2025.
Buy this if:
You want to maximize distance off the tee. It’s the second-longest driver of 2025.
You like a smaller profile driver head and a club with great sound.
Don’t buy this if:
Titleist GT1
Overall, the GT1 driver struggled in our testing. While it is the most accurate of the GT drivers, it ranked near the bottom for distance and forgiveness. If you’re looking to prioritize accuracy, the GT1 could be an option but it will require a fitting to ensure you can get the distance and consistency you need.
Buy this if:
You need a driver that prioritizes accuracy. It’s the most accurate of the Titleist driver lineup.

Which Titleist driver is best for you?

You want a balance of distance and accuracy: The Titleist GT3 ranked fifth overall for distance and 14th for accuracy. If you want a lower-spinning model with really strong performance for high swing speeds, this is it.
