Celebrating the 2019-2020 NCGA Players of the Year
Each of the 2019-2020 NCGA Players of the Year were first-time honorees; Congratulations to all of our champions!

NCGA Player of the Year—–Alex Chin
Alex Chin, a senior at University of San Francisco, won his first NCGA Player of the Year title with a total of 1,326 points. Achievements included reaching the quarterfinals of the California Amateur and finishing second at the NCGA Amateur Stroke Play Championship. Congratulations Alex on winning Player of the Year honors.
NCGA Women’s Player of the Year—Faith Low
Faith Low, a member of the Junior Tour of Northern California, won the NCGA Women’s Player of the Year crown with a total of 783 points. Among her achievements were a victory at the NCGA Women’s Amateur and reaching the Round of 32 at the California Women’s Amateur. Congratulations Faith on your first NCGA Women’s Player of the Year title.
NCGA Senior Player of the Year—-Mark Morgan
Mark Morgan, who plays out of Serrano Country Club, earned his first NCGA Senior Player of the Year award with a total of 1,160 points. His season included runner-up finishes at the NCGA Senior Valley Amateur and a third-place finish at the NCGA Senior Championship. Overall, he’d record seven top 10 finishes. Congratulations Mark on your first NCGA Senior Player of the Year title.
NCGA Senior Women’s Player of the Year—Itsuko Moridaira
Itsuko Moridaira, who plays out of Green Valley Country Club, won her first NCGA Senior Women’s Player of the Year title with 518 points. Her season included a runner-up finish at the NCGA Senior Women’s Amateur and a tie for third finish at the CWC Senior. Congratulations Itsuko on your first NCGA Senior Women’s Player of the Year crown.
NCGA Super Senior Player of the Year—Jeff Burda
A member at Creekside Golf Club, Jeff Burda won his first NCGA Super Senior Player of the Year title with a total of 1,628 points. Highlights of his season included wins at the NCGA Super Senior Amateur and Sacramento County Super Senior. He’d win all eight Super Senior events he played in, and with his win at the NCGA Super Senior earned the distinction of winning an NCGA title in six different decades. Congratulations Jeff on your first NCGA Super Senior Player of the Year title.
