The ClicGear Model 4 performed strongly in the 2022 MyGolfSpy Best Golf Push Cart testing and the Bag Boy Nitron Auto Open wasn’t that far behind.
Which is the best for you?
Verdict
The ClicGear Model 4 finished second in our 2022 Best Golf Push Cart Test, behind the Rovic RV1S, largely on its durability. This thing is built to last.
The Bag Boy Nitron Auto Open finished fifth place overall. Despite its impressive stability, it lacks in features and durability.

Behind The Scenes of ClicGear Model 4 Versus Nitron Auto Open
After this test of 20 different products, we can say there is a ton of difference between each push cart so it pays to do your research before you purchase.
ClicGear Model 4
The ClicGear Model 4 has a new silicone bag strap system that is not only effective but made to last. At 21 pounds, this is not the lightest push cart on the market. You will find that the extra weight adds to the durability but not ease of use. An adjustable upper saddle and new lower saddle make it easier to accommodate whatever golf bag you would like. Most stand bags will fit on this push cart with ease. Although there is no swivel wheel, you get four accessory mounts and the standard cup holder is included. There is an umbrella mount and bracket and a large console and storage net. You can see why it took first place overall in features. The ClicGear Model 4 folds down to 13 x 15 x 24 inches and is available in eight colors.Bag Boy Nitron Auto Open
The stand-out feature of the Bag Boy Nitron Auto Open is the quick-open technology. Bag Boy has added their Top Lok Technology to improve the bag-to-cart attachment. For hilly courses, this is particularly important. We felt it added to the overall stability of the Nitron Auto Open. The total weight for the Bag Boy Nitron Auto Open is 16.5 pounds. It includes an integrated umbrella storage with loop and storage not, an umbrella holder with storage clip and an extra-large accessory bag under the scorecard console. The bungee straps on the bottom of the bag secure it in place but we all know what happens to bungees over time, especially if you have a more extensive base on your golf bag. Keep this in mind from a durability and longevity standpoint. Folded dimensions of the Bag Boy Nitron Auto Open are 19 x 13.5 x 22 inches, considerably larger than the ClicGear 4.Bottom Line
Although the ClicGear Model 4 wins this comparison, it’s hard to say the Bag Boy Nitron Auto Open is not a good buy. It’s essential to focus on the features that the ClicGear 4 has that the Bag Boy does not versus the impressive stability of the Bag Boy.
Having said that, if you plan on purchasing a golf push cart to last you over the long haul, it’s the ClicGear Model 4.
