I have the distinct feeling many Philadelphia Eagles fans are still celebrating their team’s Super Bowl win. Odds are that there are a few revelers on Bourbon Street who have been awake since Sunday night chanting “Fly, Eagles, Fly” with increasingly raspy voices.
Those of you who have decided to keep the victory celebration going all the way through Mardi Gras have my blessing and my admiration. Just make sure you are back home in time for the victory parade.
Anyway, Bettinardi would like to help you keep the victory celebration going with a putter that commemorates the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory. This way, you can celebrate the 40-22 trouncing of the Chiefs every time you reach for your putter.
A Queen B fit for a champion
Eagles colors are all over the putter including the triple sight lines. The face is a special Eagles-inspired double-milled FIT Face. Bettinardi first milled the face with their famous micro-honeycomb pattern, then milled it again with “Eagles” all across the face.
The bottom of the putter has the Eagles logo, a bunch or New Orleans-inspired designs and the logo for Super Bowl LIX including the trophy, of course.
My favorite part of the putter is the 40-22 score engraved into the right bumper. Those of you who picked those numbers in your betting pool may have won enough to cover the cost of this putter.
Pre-order is live
Leaving no fans out in the cold, Bettinardi will be making both right- and left-handed versions.
All of the Eagles’ victory putters are gripped with a perforated leather Gripmaster grip and silver foil base Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl LIX Champions Blade Putter headcover. A la carte, the headcover would set you back at least $120.
The putter will cost $600 which I find unusually reasonable for a collectible.
Add that $120 headcover cost to the $450 price of a stock Queen B and $600 seems like Bettinardi bet the under on this release.
