Forum Member Review: Void Putters
Void Putters is looking to make a mark in the premium putter space with the Saber V2 (blade-style) and Goliath (mallet-style) models. With a focus on precision, forgiveness and premium customization, Void integrates technology such as their Gravity Drive Insert combined with a high MOI design to enhance consistency and accuracy on the greens.
Our Forum testers, ctg44, MeanMachine24 and JoeLafives, put these putters through extensive testing to evaluate their real-world performance. Here’s a breakdown of their experiences.

Key highlights
Gravity Drive Insert provided excellent distance control and forgiveness. Lag putting with the Saber V2 was a standout feature. Forgiveness on mishits helped testers reduce putts per round. Premium aesthetics and customization options received praise. No in-person fitting option left some testers with a few questions. Durability concerns arose with minor paint chipping. Compared favorably to established brands throughout testing.Testers’ experience and performance insights
First impressions and unboxing
When testers received their Void Putters, they were immediately impressed with the packaging and overall presentation. The attention to detail in protecting the putters during shipping was excellent. However, the lack of a formal fitting process raised concerns for one tester. This tester felt that, never having had one, it would be an added benefit, especially considering the higher price of the putter.
CtG44 noted, “I received my putter today and immediately was impressed with the attention to detail and care taken by Void to label the box ‘Handle with Care: Fragile’ in multiple places and the security of the box.”
Meanwhile, MeanMachine24 commented, “This thing just looks mean… like a military bomber. It will definitely turn heads on the green.”
JoeLafives added, “Right out of the box, I was impressed by the craftsmanship. Just nothing to be concerned about in any way. Great communications and service.”
However, he also pointed out, “For a premium price, a fitting is something I would expect to see in some capacity, whether it be virtual, in-person, or through an app of some sort.”

Aesthetics and feel
One of the strongest points for Void was its visual appeal and feel. The putters come in bold color choices with matte finishes, giving them a sleek and modern look. The availability of custom shafts and grips allowed testers to tailor the putter to their preference, adding to the premium experience.
CtG44 shared, “I love that the matte-black KBS Tour GPS 120 putter shaft seems to be impervious to the little bits of bag chatter that plague other graphite shafts. This is a big plus.”
MeanMachine24 noted, “The feel! It’s a perfect balance of the forgiveness of an insert and the instant feedback of a milled putter. Putting with the Void just never gets old!”
The only area where testers saw room for improvement was the headcover which felt basic and not on par with the premium quality of the putter.

Performance on the greens
Short and mid-range putts (Inside 10 feet)
Performance inside 10 feet is crucial as these are the putts that golfers expect to make. Testers found the Void Putters to be reliable in this range al though some had mixed results compared to their current putters.
CtG44 reported, “I am down to at most 2-3 missed putts inside the 8’ and in circle per round,” showing that the Saber V2 maintained high levels of consistency. Meanwhile, MeanMachine24 observed, “The Odyssey sound does change a small amount as you move away from the center, early edge here goes to the Void!”
Lag putting (20-plus feet)
Lag putting was where Void Putters really shone. Testers reported significant improvements in distance control and consistency, leading to fewer three-putts.
CtG44 described, “Lag putting is absolutely freaking amazing. Seriously, the amount of lag putts I’ve put close enough to guarantee a 2-putt is stupid compared to my Sik.”
MeanMachine24 added, “This putter just refuses to let me three-putt. The consistency in speed control is its biggest strength.”
Forgiveness and stability
The high MOI design of the putter contributed to stability, reducing mishits and keeping putts on line. The tungsten weighting helped ensure that even slightly off-center hits still traveled the intended distance.
MeanMachine24 noted, “I can almost guarantee that not all of those putts that went in came off the center of the face.”

What they liked
Outstanding lag putting performance made long putts easier to two-putt. Premium aesthetics with unique colors and matte finishes that stood out. Gravity Drive Insert worked as advertised, reducing distance loss on mishits. Excellent forgiveness helped stabilize off-center strikes. Customization options for shafts and grips added to the premium experience.
What they didn’t like
Wished there was an online or virtual fitting app. Durability concerns were noted with CtG44 seeing minor paint chipping on the hosel. Basic headcover design did not match the premium quality of the putter. Goliath mallet felt slightly heavy for some testers. Limited alignment customization with only a single-line option available.Final verdict: Play it or trade it?
All testers decided to keep the Void Putters in their bag but noted some areas for improvement.
CtG44 expressed confidence in keeping the Saber V2 in play, stating, “The Void Saber V2 is staying in my bag for the foreseeable future. My confidence in lag putting has never been higher.”
MeanMachine24 was equally impressed, mentioning, “Surpassing my previous gamer in strokes gained after 6 weeks of testing was not something I expected, but I was eager to see how good I can get with this thing after a full season.”

Conclusion
Void Putters has created a competitive option in the high-end putter market. The Saber V2 and Goliath models deliver excellent distance control, premium aesthetics and superior stability.
While the lack of a fitting process and minor durability concerns were noted, performance gains in long putts and forgiveness make Void Putters a strong option for those looking to minimize three-putts and improve overall putting consistency.

FAQ
CtG44 noted, “Lag putting is absolutely freaking amazing compared to my Sik, which was already great.” The Saber V2 is more forgiving on mishits.
Yes. Testers found that the insert maintained consistent distance control even on mishits which is something many other insert putters struggle with.
The Goliath mallet is slightly heavier than some other putters which some testers liked for stability. Others felt it was a bit too much.
If you prefer a blade-style putter with forgiveness, go with the Saber V2. If you need maximum stability in a high-MOI mallet, the Goliath is the better choice.
