Primo Golf Joggers Review

Primo Golf Joggers Review

There is a lot of cool gear in the golf equipment world that doesn’t always fit neatly into Most Wanted Tests or Buyer’s Guides. You still want to know how it performs. In our We Tried It series, we put gear to the test and let you know if it works as advertised.

What We Tried:

Primo Golf Joggers. Primo has been on my radar for a while and I’ve finally convinced our editor Tony to let me write about golf joggers.

Who Tried It:

Connor. Director of Soft Goods Testing and resident sneakerhead. I believe golf is better with a pair of cool shoes and comfortable joggers.

Pants, but Less Boring

Someone has to say it. Nothing is wrong with wearing joggers on the golf course. Not all of you share the same sentiment. That’s OK. You’re entitled to wear what you like. So am I.

I just think we need to stop making such a big deal about wanting to show a little extra ankle, that’s all.

If the PGA TOUR is any indication of the direction golf fashion is headed, things are looking up. Take rookie Eric Cole, for example. Cole has made nearly $3 million rocking Primo Golf Joggers on the Tour.

I’m no Tour pro but wearing the Primo Golf Joggers sure made me feel like a million bucks. More on that in a minute.

Comfortable Cuffs

The Cuffs on the Primo Golf Joggers

As a jogger aficionado, the most important feature is the cuff. If the cuff is too tight or too loose, it can ruin the jogger as a whole. Primo’s Golf Joggers have excellent elastic cuffs with side-mounted zippers to dial in your fit.

The cuffs are extremely comfortable and don’t ride up your leg. As someone with thicker ankles, there’s plenty of stretch to fit just about any body type.

It’s worth noting that Primo offers multiple lengths to accommodate the masses. Based on my height of 6’2”, it was recommended that I go with the regular length. I found this to be perfect. The cuffs sit right at the ankle.

For the short kings, you’ll be happy to have options that don’t make you feel like you’re wearing floods. For those of you that are taller than me, the tall or extra-tall length should stop your joggers from becoming capris.

Primo offers five different lengths to go with the 12 different waist sizes. Talk about inclusivity!

Flattering Fit

I was very impressed with the overall fit of the Primo Golf Joggers. While some other joggers in my closet are saggy in all of the wrong places, the Primo Golf Joggers are form-fitting in all of the right places.

The tapered fit is money even for someone with tree trunks for legs like me. Plus, I found the waist had just enough stretch to counteract my on-course Diet Coke binge. That stretchy fabric works well for the golf swing, too. I didn’t feel restricted or hindered by my Primo Golf Joggers.

Course Ready

The Primo Golf Joggers are made for the course. The belt loops and button closure give them the look and feel of typical golf pants. A silicone band runs around the interior of the waist to ensure your tucked-in shirt stays that way.

I also found the Primo Golf Joggers to be breathable. After hours in the hot, muggy weather, I was surprisingly comfortable.

Making Golf Pants Cool

The Primo Golf Joggers are my new go-to jogger pant. Between the exceptional fit,  comfortable cuffs and stylish looks, my only regret is not picking up another few colors.

The versatility of the Primo Golf Joggers to go straight from the course to the couch is unmatched. These golf joggers are as cool as they are comfortable.

If you want to look good, feel good and (maybe) play good … give the Primo Golf Joggers a go.
