Recap: A Second Look at This Season’s New Releases

But new products are announced and released frequently and often in batches.  So if you’ve missed a release date or new product announcement, we’ve collected this season’s new releases (so far) and put them all in one place. Here’s a comprehensive list of all of the clubs we’ve recently covered that are currently available or are slated to be released in the next month or two. Drivers

 

Cobra Radspeed– Jan 29, 2021

For 2021, Cobra is introducing three RADSPEED Driver models. Low spin and forgiveness are key elements of all three designs. The retail price is $449 with full availability beginning Jan. 29, 2021.

Srixon ZX drivers

Srixon ZX– Jan 15, 2021

The entire lineup features Rebound Frame – face flexing technology designed for ball speed. ZX5 is the more forgiving, higher launching driver; ZX7 is targeted at the better player with adjustable sole weights for fade/draw bias.

Mizuno ST-X & ST-Z– Early 2021

Will likely be marketed to mid-slow swing players Pricing remains unknown for the probable early 2021 release

TaylorMade Sim 2– Early 2021

Two members of the TaylorMade SIM2 driver family landed on the USGA list this week. We expect there will be at least one more added before the drivers hit retail in early 2021

Wilson Staff D9 Driver– Early 2021

Likely replacement for the two-year-old D7 Non-adjustable with carbon fiber crown and rear weight

Titleist TSi2 & TSi3Available Now

Titleist has launched the new TSi series of drivers. The TSi2 offers higher launch and more forgiveness. The TSi3 offers a compact shape and adjustable weighting.Ben Hogan GS53 MAX

Ben Hogan GS53 Max Driver- Available Now

The new Hogan GS53 MAX driver is a more forgiving version of last year’s GS53. It’s 460cc and features a bigger face and a lower and deeper center of gravity. The GS53 MAX offers three real-deal shaft options

Tour Edge Hot Launch 521 E and C SeriesAvailable Now

Tour Edge has released two new Hot Launch 521 Series Drivers. The Hot Launch E521 is designed for slice correction. The Hot Launch C521 is designed for maximum performance.

Woods & Hybrids

Cobra Radspeed– Jan 29, 2021

For 2021, COBRA is introducing three RADSPEED fairway woods and two RADSPEED hybrids. The RADSPEED Draw fairway wood is the first dedicated draw-biased fairway wood in COBRA’s flagship line up. The retail price is $279 fairway and $229 hybrid – full availability Jan. 29, 2021.

Srixon ZX– Jan 15, 2021

ZX fairways feature low/forward weighting – called Cannon Sole – for penetrating launch. Crown Step in fairways and hybrids helps lower the center of gravity.

Titleist TSi2 & TSi3Available Now

Titleist TSi fairway woods will be available in two models. The TSi2 features higher launch and greater forgiveness. The TSi3 offers a penetrating flight and movable weight technology.

Tour Edge Hot Launch 521 E and C SeriesAvailable Now

New Hot Launch companion fairway metals and hybrids for the new E and C series. E521 fairways and hybrids feature Houdini Sole for turf interaction plus a center of gravity that’s lower and farther back C521 options use Tour Edge Diamond Face tech for more ball speed.

Irons

 

Cobra Radspeed– Jan 29, 2021

COBRA RADSPEED irons are sleeker and slimmer than last year’s SpeedZone irons. 3D-printed medallion helps maintain the lowest CG in the game improvement category. ONE Length option features even lower and deeper CGs for improved launch. Combo sets and a black PVD finish are optional.

Srixon ZX5 & Zx7– Jan 15, 2021

The new Srixon ZX lineup replaces the highly successful Z85 series. ZX7 is a one-piece forged cavity back for better players; the ZX5 is a multi-piece iron for distance and forgiveness. The updated ZX utility is more streamlined than the Z85 utility while still keeping the center of gravity low. Srixon’s computer-driven Mainframe technology designed variable thickness face for the ZX5 and ZX utility.

Wilson Staff Model CB

Wilson Staff Model CB– Jan 15, 2021

Wilson Staff Model CB irons are 4 years in the making The new CBs are putting 20 grams of tungsten in the toe of the long and mid irons. Wilson Staff Model CB is a single-piece forging made from 8620 carbon steel.

Cobra KING Tour irons

Cobra King Tour IronsAvailable Now

Cobra’s new KING Tour irons are the first Cobra irons made from Metal Injection Molding (MIM). Cobra says the process creates an iron that feels softer than premium forgings. KING Tour is a player’s cavity-back iron set with what can be considered “traditional” lofts.

Callaway X Forged CB & X Forged UT UtilityAvailable Now

Callaway has launched two new offerings in its X Forged CB Series. The X Forged CB iron is a technology-driven iron designed with PGA TOUR players in mind. The X Forged UT utility complements the CB with a higher-launch, more forgiving utility iron.

Callaway Apex MB IronAvailable Now

Callaway blades are on a three-year product cycle. Non-adjustable weight port allows for swingweight versatility without affecting the center of gravity. Custom orders only – no stock shaft or grip offerings.

Tour Edge Hot Launch E21 E and C SeriesAvailable Now

Tour Edge has released two new game-improvement irons – Hot Launch E521 and C521. The Hot Launch E521 irons are designed to offer extreme launch and forgiveness. The Hot Launch C521 irons are designed around competition specifications.

Cleveland CBX2 Black Satin wedges

Cleveland CBX2 Black Satin– Dec 18, 2020

Cosmetic update for Cleveland’s popular game improvement wedge. Cleveland uses a proprietary Black Satin PVD finish it says will maximize durability. Available Dec. 18. $139.99 in steel, $149.99 in graphite.

Putters

 

Bettinardi 2021 putter lines– Jan 15, 2021

Bettinardi 2021 putter lines will include updates of their Queen B and Studio Stock lines. The iNOVAi Rev 7 will be added to the iNOVAi line. The new Studio Stock Putters feature an all-new Roll Control face.

Cobra KING Supersport-35 Putter (3D printed)– Sold Out

The Cobra KING Supersport-35 putter is constructed using a HP Metal Jet 3D printer. It features SIK Golf’s descending-loft face. Released on Nov. 20 in very limited quantities and is currently sold out.

PING Prime Tyne putter toe up

Limited-Edition PING PLD Prime Tyne 4Available Now

The limited-run PING PLD Prime Tyne 4 is the first PLD putter PING has released since 2018. The PLD Prime Tyne 4 is a compact version of the Sigma 2 Tyne 4. The production run of the PLD Prime Tyne 4 is very limited.
