I’m no racing fan so I struggled to see how these two companies are intertwined. You’re probably wondering, too. The answer is carbon. Yes, carbon. Like the award-winning Stealth 2 Plus driver, the Oracle Red Bull RB19 car is of carbon construction.
Just as both companies rely on carbon construction to positively impact performance, they hope this partnership will breed more passion for success.
“As two leading forces in our respective arenas, TaylorMade and Oracle Red Bull Racing share a common passion for pushing boundaries and pursuing excellence.” said David Ables, TaylorMade President and CEO. “Just as Oracle Red Bull Racing develops the ultimate vehicle for their drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, TaylorMade builds technology-driven golf equipment for our tour players and amateurs alike.”
It’s worth noting that, on the equipment side of things, the TaylorMade x Oracle Red Bull RB19 “Speed Craft Collection” is, in essence, a paint job. The Stealth 2 driver, Spider GTX putter and TP5 PIX golf balls remain unchanged from a technology standpoint.
Even still, the collection looks darned cool. As mentioned, I’m no racing fan. But I can get down with a Red Bull beverage or two. Look for the entire collection to drop Oct. 17th at TaylorMade.
