Testers Wanted: Evnroll Neo Classic Putters

The Evnroll Neo Classic ER2 was named Best Overall Blade Putter by MyGolfSpy testers in 2024. It was the top performer in the five-foot category. Considering there were 39 putters tested, this was no easy feat. The Neo Classic line boasts several more models and features that have not previously been seen in Evnroll putters

About The Evnroll Neo Classic Putters

We have a full deep dive into the Neo Classic line that you can view here. The short version is that this putter line features new takes on five classic Evnroll designs. The line incorporates adjustable weights, two finishes and their new aluminum SweetFace insert. Of the five new models, three fall are blades and two are mallets, meaning most golfers should see a shape or style that suits their visual preferences.

The biggest of all the  changes is clearly the SweetFace aluminum insert. Known for their SweetFace milled grooves that aid in direction and speed control, the new aluminum insert aims to provide a better feel that is softer but equally responsive.

The Testing Opportunity

We are searching for four golfers to test, review and keep an Evnroll Neo Classic putter of their choice. We will be selecting two golfers to test a blade and two to test a mallet.

MyGolfSpy wants to know how these putters perform on the golf course and how the new features translate to performance. Does the new simplified weighting system work as it should? Or is it better suited for a fitting option and for most to leave it as standard? How does the new insert feel and sound? Is it an improvement over prior Evnroll models? All this leads up to the ultimate question: Will this putter become your new gamer?

U.S. Women's Open Stage Set; Final Qualifying Storylines

When one comes to the quality of the bunkers and other hazards we pass into realm of much dispute and argument. Primarily bunkers should be sand bunkers purely, not composed of gravel, stones or dirt. Whether this or that bunker is well placed, has caused more intensely heated arguments outside of the realms of religion, than has ever been my lot to listen to. C.B. MACDONALD

Testers Wanted: Precision Pro Titan Elite

Precision Pro claims their new Titan Elite rangefinder is “the new gold standard in golf rangefinders.” A bold claim for a product competing in a category with premium devices that are proven and function exceptionally well. However, Precision Pro has a few tricks up its sleeve with the Titan Elite that they feel set it apart from the rest.

About The Precision Pro Titan Elite Rangefinder

The Titan Elite features an aluminum shell to enhance its durability without adding too much weight. It also boasts an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, meaning rain or shine, this rangefinder is protected against the elements. The IP67 rating is the highest in its class.

Also included are some of the standard but critical features such as visual target lock with a ripple visual effect and pulse vibration when you lock onto the flag.

However, it is the connection with the Precision Pro app that looks to really set the Titan Elite apart. With the app integration, the rangefinder provides front, center and back-of-green GPS yardages through the reticle with the press of a button.

Finally, what may be the feature golfers could use the most is “Find My Titan.” Forget your rangefinder? Precision Pro has you covered with its GPS location feature. This will ping the Titan Elite and provide a notification on your phone if you misplace it.

This New Rangefinder is Elite

There is a lot of cool gear in the golf equipment world that doesn’t always fit neatly into Most Wanted Tests or Buyer’s Guides. You still want to know how it performs. In our We Tried It series, we put gear to the test and let you know if it works as advertised.

What We Tried:

The Precision Pro Titan Elite Rangefinder. Known for making accurate devices that provide great value, the new Titan Elite is Precision Pro’s new flagship product and it’s a got a few fancy tricks up its sleeve.

Who Tried It:

Connor. Managing Editor and resident sneakerhead. I’ve always been a GPS guy but the Precision Pro Titan Elite might be the perfect way to get me into a rangefinder. Why? It functions both as a rangefinder (for pin-hunting) and a GPS (for when I just need the front, middle or back of the green).

I won’t lie: my wife is a little confused as to why I need another device to tell me how far I am from the green. That’s probably because she knows I’m not actually good at golf. Regardless, as my game improves, so has my need for more precise yardages. Hence, the Precision Pro Titan Elite is in my bag.

Let’s talk about this new flagship rangefinder that carries a surprisingly affordable price tag.

Zebra Milled Putters: Now Comes The Hard Part

The Zebra putters comeback is officially entering what’s known as “the hard part.”

The Brand Resurrection Playbook says that while Year One is no cakewalk, Year Two is when you either establish yourself as a legit player or fade into the obscurity of a nostalgia-based money grab.

Zebra followed the Year One script faithfully. Designed by longtime Odyssey putter designer (and current head of Acushnet’s Putter R&D) Austie Rollinson, the AIT line captured Zebra’s legendary striped aura and sparked a fair amount of nostalgic buzz.

Performance-wise, the new Zebras were solid but uninspiring. The AIT 1 and AIT 2 mallets finished in the middle of the pack in last year’s MyGolfSpy testing while the AIT 4 Anser-style blade was a lower-third performer.

They did, however, outperform entries from some pretty big names such as PING, Evnroll, Bettinardi and Scotty Cameron.
