Here’s what to look for in a golf bag.

On Your Face, Not in Your Face

What’s the draw of sunglasses that double as headphones? For those of us who like to listen to music on the golf course, the idea of an open-ear design that allows you to hear what’s going on around you is appealing. 

For those of you who are opposed to music on the golf course, there’s still something in this for you, too. Speakers, when used with reckless abandon, can be loud and overbearing. The use of speaker sunglasses like the Revo Sonic 2 should stop other people’s music from intruding on your golf. 

Amen Corner is a term used in the sport of golf to refer to a specific stretch of holes on the Augusta National Golf Club course, which is the host of the annual Masters Tournament.

The term Amen Corner refers specifically to holes 11, 12, and 13, which are located on the back nine of the course. These holes are known for their difficulty and strategic design, and have played a significant role in many memorable moments in Masters history.

The 11th hole, known as White Dogwood, is a long par-4 with a difficult approach shot to a green that slopes from back to front. The 12th hole, known as Golden Bell, is a famous par-3 with a narrow green surrounded by water and difficult wind conditions. The 13th hole, known as Azalea, is a long par-5 with a green that is reachable in two shots for longer hitters.

The term Amen Corner was coined by golf writer Herbert Warren Wind in a 1958 Sports Illustrated article, in which he described the pivotal role that these holes play in the Masters Tournament. Since then, the term has become a widely recognized part of golf lore and a popular destination for golf fans visiting Augusta National.

A Challenger Approaches

By and large, the adidas Ultraboost gained its wild popularity through comfort. Heck, here at HQ, we have several staff members (including myself) who swear by BOOST cushion.

Hannah Green of Australia made a 25-foot birdie putt on the final hole to join a three-way playoff and then made par on the second extra hole to win the JM Eagle LA Championship on Sunday at Wilshire Country Club.

- Steven Alker won the Insperity Invitational for the second straight year Sunday, closing with a 6-under 66 for a four-shot victory over Steve Stricker and his first title of the year on the PGA Tour Champions.

Tony Finau never gave Masters champion Jon Rahm or anyone else much of a chance Sunday, closing with a bogey-free round of 5-under 66 that gave him a three-shot victory in the Mexico Open.

Pablo Larrazábal shot a tidy 5-under 67 in the final round of the Korea Championship to complete a two-shot victory over Marcus Helligkilde.

Talor Gooch scored a playoff hole victory against Sergio Garcia at the LIV Singapore tournament on Sunday to become the first player to win back-to-back LIV Golf titles.

Tony Finau posted five birdies over the last seven holes in the Mexico Open. He needed them to stay in front of hard-charging Masters champion Jon Rahm, who shot 61 to tie his lowest score on the PGA Tour.

Cheyenne Knight shot a bogey-free 4-under 67 on Saturday to take a two-shot lead through three rounds of the LA Championship at Wilshire Country Club.

Robert MacIntyre held the clubhouse lead and was tied at 8-under with Pablo Larrazábal when a weather-affected third day of the Korea Championship was suspended because of fading light.

Sergio Garcia shot a 7-under 64 at Sentosa Golf Club on Saturday to move into a share of the second-round lead with Talor Gooch at the LIV Singapore tournament.
